Love Squall * It's my love.
I should be working on art and my costume for Otakon.

Clearly this means I should instead waste time making icons from the Play the Lupin: The Clips DVD that came in the mail today. Mostly from the Monkey Punch-style clip as the 3D portions kind of... creeped me out. D: Great music, though.

*Feel free to edit these bases however you'd like.
*You don't have to let me know if you take any, but I love comments if you feel like it! :D

Unico: Coy~

Aaaaah it's so glossy and pretty! I'm so tickled.

And the Tezuka fangirl in me is stupidly delighted by the fact his name's on the cover of a magazine with art I drew.

... I wish I could read the articles ;_;

So I was looking at the official art for the Panson Works Lupin figures, and found it too adorkable to resist making some icons. There may be more later, I had too much fun!

UH SORRY TO THE FOLKS WHO MAY BE SEEING THIS MULTIPLE TIMES because I crossposted to two communities. :C Keeping this unfriendslocked in case anyone comes looking for them.

eta: D'oh! I just realized I spelled 'zantetsuken' wrong. I'll correct that once I get home from work tonight. Fixed!

The man with the foolish grin is keeping
I'm sad to report that DZ, my Dad's 13 year old Cocker Spaniel, had to be put to sleep today due to being in a lot of pain because of his enlarged heart. I only think a few people reading this ever got to meet DZ, but he was a dog with a lot of character and will be sorely missed.

While I am very sad about his passing, most of my thoughts right now are on my father. He loved DZ very much, and when it truly hits him I'm sure it will be a very rocky time for him. DZ was pretty much he and my stepmom's baby. He was named after the place they first met -- on a Parents Without Partners trip to Discovery Zone. He was a Christmas puppy, purchased the year after they got married, and was promptly spoiled rotten from there on out.

He was hardly an example of good dog training. He didn't just beg for food from the table -- he kind of loudly demanded it. Dad encouraged this behavior, much to the rest of the family's chagrin. He got his own wrapped presents under the Christmas tree (which both Dad and my stepmom made great efforts to hide from him until the day of as if he were an actual child) every year. He actually trained my Dad to give him treats whenever he scratched on the pantry door.

But, all that aside, he did the most valuable you can ever ask of a dog to do. He loved us all unconditionally, and made our house and our lives just a little more enjoyable. It's not his fault nature decided on the cruel joke of making a dog's life span such a small fraction of our own.

Good boy, DZ. Good boy.
Team Rocket: VORE!~
They're addictive I'm sorry.

I promise this'll be the only entry with them. :|

In other news: Some nice person on FA gave me a shiny Zangoose. It's one of the few Pokemon whose shiny coloring I actually prefer to its original.
